Pacific Northwest Regional Results


How our high schools did in Portland, OR on March 1–3, 2007.

At the Pacific Northwest Regional in Portland:

Saint Georges, East Valley, and Central Valley robots made it into the Championship rounds.
Saint Georges moved on to the semifinals where the lost in a 4th game tiebreaker in a best 2 out of 3 series.

Bonners Ferry won the Rookie Inspiration award which is the second highest honor given to rookie teams at a regional

Saint Georges won awards for:
Delphi Driving Tomorrows Technology award for the Mecanum drive system and its development.
and the Engineering Inspiration award which is the second highest award given a team at a regional competition.

The national championships in Atlanta were held in mid April.

Saint Georges finished 7th overall out of 86 teams in the Galileo division and again made it to the semifinals where they lost in a 3rd game tie breaker, equivalent to making the sweet 16 in the NCAA basketball tournament.
